Announcement for participants who submit scientific abstracts in Annual Scientific Meeting 2022

 

GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPANTS:

1. General Guidelines

  • All participants should submit abstract
  • The work covered by the abstract must not have been published in any other medium (either as manuscript or abstract). If the work has been presented at another meeting, the author must disclose when and where it was presented (during submission process), so that the abstract review Committee can make its decision based on all available details.

A. Research Proposal

  • All research proposal will be presented in oral presentation
  • All proposal presenters should submit proposal summary and presentation file to the committee
  • Proposal summary should be in maximum 4 pages, containing: tittle, backgrounds, objective, conceptual/theoretical framework, and research method
  • Duration of presentation: 10 minutes (presentation maximum 5 minutes, followed by 5 minutes discussion). The contents of the proposal presentation should at least contain the Title, Author, Author institution, Background, Objective, and Methods.
  • There is no limit of the number of presentation slides. All presentation files should be written in English.
  • Please rename your file with this format: RP_Name_Registration number_Title  
  • Please submit your proposal summary in PDF and your yotube link/ prerecorded video presentation to the link that attached in e-ticket mail by August 14th, 2022 at 23.59 WIB
  • Video should be uploaded at participant’s YouTube account in unlisted form (details on how to upload video: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/57407?hl=n
  • Q and A live

 

B. Original Research

  • All original research participants should submit abstract to the committee
  • Abstract should be containing: Title, Author, Author institution, Background, Method, Result and Conclusion.
  • Please rename your file with this format: OR_Name_SPPA_Registration number_Title (Pathologist)
  • Please rename your file with this format: OR_Name_PPDS_Registration number_Title (Pathology Resident)
  • Please submit your abstract in PDF format and E-poster by July 30th, 2022 at 23.59 WIB to the link that attached in e-ticket mail
  • The original research’s abstract received by the committee were divided by reviewers into oral presentation or e-poster
  • Only selected original research will be presented oral during the event
  • The chosen one will be announced on 15th August 2022 in the website and should submit pre-recorded video on YouTube before August 28th, 2022 at 23:59 WIB
  • Video should be uploaded at participant’s YouTube account in unlisted form (details on how to upload video: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/57407?hl=n
  • Duration of presentation: 10 minutes (presentation maximum 5 minutes, followed by 5 minutes discussion).
  • Those who aren’t chosen in the oral presentation, require to make an e-poster 
  • For e-poster guideline, please refers to e-poster point/protocol

 

C. Case Report

  • All case reports will be displayed in e-poster
  • Participants should submit abstract in PDF format and e-poster to the committee by August 14th, 2022 at 23.59 WIB to the link that attached in e-ticket mail
  • Abstract should be containing: Title, Author, Author institution, Background, Method, Result and Conclusion.
  • Please rename your file with this format: CR_Name_Registration number_Title
  • For e-poster guideline, please refers to e-poster point/protocol

Notes :

  1. The presentation files received by committee would be sent to the judges and be used as back up files on the day of presentation
  2. On the day of presentation (Friday, September 2nd 2022), all participants must join in the scheduled meeting 30 minutes before presentation time with display names set according to each respective participant's code and name (for example: OP_Name, RP_Name). All participants should prepare their own file presentation to be shared during presentation. The presenter could speak in English or Indonesian. The Zoom meeting link would be announced via website, whatsapp and email that registered in Google form for uploading the presentation file

 

2. E-Poster

  • All e-posters should use English language
  • Size : 25.4 cmx14.29 cm (landscape orientation)
  • Case Report's Content: at least contain the Title, Author, Author institution, Background, Case description, Discussion and Conclusion.
  • Original Research's Content: at least contain the Title, Author, Author institution, Background, Method, Result and Conclusion.
  • All e-poster participants are required to submit the e-poster file in PNG format (maximum file size: 10 Megabytes) to our committee by August 14th, 2022 at 23.59 WIB (Case Report) and .July 30th, 2022 at 23.59 WIB (Original Research)
  • Please submit your e-poster file to the link that attached in e-ticket mail
  • Please rename your file with this format: E_Name_Registration number_Title
  • Best three posters will be announced at the end of the event
