INTRODUCTION

A. BACKGROUND

Anatomical Pathology is rapidly evolving as advances in diagnostic technologies and precision medicine reshape modern practice. While conventional morphological expertise remains essential, emerging diagnostic frontiers—including molecular pathology, cellular analysis, and integrated diagnostic platforms—are redefining diagnostic standards and service delivery.

The theme “Future-Ready Anatomical Pathology: Bridging Conventional Expertise with Emerging Diagnostic Frontiers” underscores a strategic commitment to innovation and professional readiness. This meeting offers a high-level platform for scientific exchange, industry engagement, and policy-driven collaboration through a scientific program, working conference, and selected academic and cultural activities that strengthen networking and community engagement.

 

B. THEME

Theme of The Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 of PDSPA is Future-Ready Anatomical Pathology: Bridging Conventional Expertise with Emerging Diagnostic Frontiers. We provide a rich scientific program, elite lecturers, iscussions and scientific presentations. In addition to scientific program, there will be many opportunities on learning and networking as well as exciting social events. 

 

C. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  1. To prepare Anatomical Pathology for future challenges by strengthening the integration of conventional morphological expertise with emerging diagnostic technologies.
  2. To enhance scientific knowledge and professional competency through a focused scientific program aligned with advances in diagnostic pathology.
  3. To strengthen strategic collaboration and practice standardization through a working conference addressing policy and future directions of pathology services.
  4. To promote innovation, professional networking, integrated academic, cultural activities and community engagement in Anatomical pathology.

The participants of PDSPA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 is approximately 500 persons including pathologists and residents of Anatomical Pathology in Indonesia.
